About

Bio

I'm an Accessibility Specialist with a deep foundation in front-end engineering and technical communication. Throughout my career—spanning roles at Elsevier and Accenture—I have focused on the technical bridge, the space where code meets compliance and user need.

My approach is rooted in inclusive design and technical mentorship. I am a former award-winner for my work on large-scale educational platforms (EAQ and Sherpath), where I led the transition to WCAG 2.0 AA standards. I specialize in integrating accessibility into the software development life cycle, helping cross-functional teams move beyond automated testing toward high-fidelity, manual screen-reader auditing and remediation.

Mission Statement

Accessibility is an engineering value, not a QA afterthought. My mission is to empower development teams to build right the first time by architecting semantic component libraries and defining rigorous definitions of done. With an MBA and a background in software engineering, I advocate for inclusive products that reduce technical debt, mitigate legal risk and prioritize the user's cognitive load across every digital touchpoint.
