As a technical writer with some background in front end software development and project management, I understand the balance required in order to work well with a team. On one hand, the ability to work independently gets the work done. On the other hand, adaptability allows for integration of updates and timely task completion. Above and beyond this, my user-centric and empathetic approach has led to an accessibility award for work on a large education software project.

That either of these can change unexpectedly underscores the importance of writing with the readers’s perspective and ability in mind. For this reason, I focus on communicating complex processes clearly and maintaining an outlook of inclusivity. I enjoy working on projects where high empathy noticeably enhances user experience and learning, such as in the areas of education, health, wellness and spirituality.
